Grasso Girls Farm Market ~ Fresh Produce & Family Tradition

Twelve years ago a group of entrepreneurial young girls set up a little cart on the side of Wolfert Station Road in Mullica Hill.

Grasso Girls Farm Market

While most kids get their first business experience selling lemonade, the “Grasso Girls” sold tomatoes, peppers and corn…and learned lifelong lessons in the process!  Before long the 7 cousins outgrew their little cart and built a farm stand.  Grasso Girls Farm Market opened in the fall of 2006.

A Family Tradition

The success of their venture is no surprise since the girls came from a family with four generations of farming experience.  Their great-grandfather, Alfio Grasso, came to America from Italy in 1921.

4th Generation Farmers!

He and his wife Maria bought a farm in Mickleton in 1924 and then a second farm in Mullica Hill in 1953.

Alfio and Maria’s children and grandchildren grew up working on the farm.   They grew tomatoes, squash, peaches, sweet potatoes , pickles and peppers.

The Grasso farm was primarily a wholesale operation until the girls got the itch to open their roadside market.  The rest is history!

Always Fresh, Always Local

Grasso Girls

Grasso Girls Farm Market is built on quality, honesty, and delivering a great product at a fair price.   They grow their own great assortment of farm fresh fruits and veggies and whatever they don’t grow, they source locally.

Along with produce and bedding plants, they have cage free local eggs,  local honey, jams and dressings.

Stop by to beat the heat on a hot summer day with Chill Out water ice and peach cider.  You can also pick up a bottle of wine from Wagonhouse Winery.   The peach wine is even made with “Grasso” peaches!

The Grasso family is committed to quality and stands by everything they sell.  If you are ever dissatisfied for any reason, they offer a replacement or money back guarantee.

Grasso Girls Farm Market is open every day from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m  from mid April to October 31st at 353 Wolfert Station Rd. in Mullica Hill, right near the library.
