Second Saturday Events ~ Sept. 12th

Saturday, Sept. 12th is Second Saturday in Mullica Hill.  Come out to Main St. to enjoy one of the last weekends of summer with your friends and neighbors. Here’s a rundown of the events that are planned for what is sure to be a fun-filled day!

The Antique Car Show:  Vintage Car Show

Over 40 antique cars from Backroad Cruisers will be on display from 12-5 p.m. behind Amazing Grace.  Prizes will be awarded for the best cars in the show.

Concert on the Hill:  

Bring your lawn chairs to enjoy a Free Concert by American Dreamers from 4:30-7 p.m. behind Sisters.

Rode’s Chicken BBQ:Rode's BBQ

Rode’s Chicken BBQ Dinner will be held behind Gathering Room Interiors at 41 S. Main St.  (right next door to the concert!) from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m.  Tickets are $15 each and you can order online here to reserve your delicious dinner in advance.  Proceeds benefit the Mullica Hill Merchants Association and make future Second Saturday events possible.

Special Display:

The artifact from the World Trade Center recently acquired by Harrison Township will be on display at the Baptist Church throughout the Second Saturday events.

Mullica Hill Book Festival ~ June 13th

On Saturday, June 13th, the Mullica Hill merchants will host the first annual Mullica Hill Book Festival from 10a.m. to 5p.m on Main St.  Local merchants will host a variety of family friendly book related events throughout the day.

Festivities will include visits from local authors, storytelling by Kathryn Ross and writing contests for Harrison Township students.

A special Dinner Theater will take place at 5:30p.m. at the Mullica Hill Grange where a local theater group will perform Les Miserables.

Fulton Bank will sponsor the Kids Tent with face painting, moon bounces and local children’s authors.

Many more activities are still in the works…too numerous to list and to much fun to miss!!!
