Bring the whole family to Ella Harris Park on Saturday, May 6th  (Rain Date May 7th) for the annual Harrison Township Day event! Enjoy amusements, refreshments and live entertainment from 10am-9pm.

Avoid the Lines!  Purchase Wristbands Online in advance or at the Recreation Office until 4pm on May 5th and pick them up at the booth beginning at 10a.m. on Saturday.

  • BIG KIDS Wristbands include 3 mechanical rides and 3 blow ups and are $15 ($20 event day).
  • KIDDIE Wristbands include 2 mechanical rides and 2 blow ups and are $7 ($10 event day.)

This fun-filled community day will come to a close with the traditional fireworks display at dusk.

Excitement is building for the big spring event in Mullica Hill – Harrison Township Day 2016!  This year’s theme is the Harrison Hoe-Down. Bring the whole family to Ella Harris Park on Saturday, May 7th to enjoy amusements, refreshments and live entertainment.

* NEW THIS YEAR:  Discounted wristbands and laser tag tickets are available to purchase online at www.eventbrite.com through May 4th or at the Recreation Office until 4pm on May 6th.  Avoid long lines at the ticket booth and order now!  The deadline is May 4th.  All pre-purchased wristbands will be available for pickup on Saturday at the Redemption Booth beginning at 10am.

Harrison Township Day 2014 ~ Rockin’ thru the Decades

It’s time once again for the big spring event in Mullica Hill – Harrison Township Day 2014 – and this year we’ll be Rockin through the Decades on Saturday, May 3rd (rain date May 4th.)

Run for the Roses 5k

The day kicks off with the annual Run for the Roses 5k.  The race goes right down Main St., beginning and ending at Mullica Hill Commons, 155 Bridgeton Pike.  Registration begins at 8  a.m. at the  and the race begins at 9 a.m.  Register online here or with using this registration form.  Winners will be awarded in 10 age categories.

 

The Harrison Township Day Parade will begin at 9:30 a.m, immediately following the race.  Watch as members of the Harrison sports teams and community organizations rock the decades.  Here are just a few highlights from last year’s parade:

After the parade, follow the crowds down to Ella Harris Park.  Vendor booths will open at 10 a.m. and run through 5 p.m.

Enjoy music and refreshments all day including Rode’s famous BBQ from noon to 6 p.m. Amusements will begin at 11 am and run through 8 p.m.  The popular Laser Skirmish runs from noon to 6 p.m.

This fun-filled community day will come to a close with the traditional fireworks display at dusk.
