Mommy & Me and Fit Mom classes at Fit to Dance

Fit to Dance Studio offers two great dance and fitness classes for Moms and kids:

Mommy & MeMommy & Me

The Mommy & Me toddler dance program, for boys and girls ages 1½ to 2½, lets students take a movement and music class with Mommy, Daddy or caregiver close by. A new eight week session begins the week of November 13th and Fit to Dance is offering a

**Free Trial on Wednesday, November 15th at 10:30 a.m.**

Mommy & Me classes will be held Tuesdays at 6:15p.m. and Wednesdays at 10:30a.m. Tuition for the 8 week session is $80.

This 45 minute class focuses on dance movement, hand-eye coordination, stretching, counting, rhythm and other basic dance techniques that are great for early child development, building self esteem and self confidence.  Children will learn the basics of dance, while engaging in hands-on movement activities essential to proper development and social skills.

Fit Mom Fit Mom Class

Moms, this is your chance to get your workout in and bring the kids along!  The Fit Mom class combines strength and vitality in this morning workout for moms.  Moms of all fitness levels are welcome from beginners to advanced.

Fit Mom classes are held Mondays & Wednesdays @ 9:30am.

Your children of all ages will quickly become your little workout buddy by joining you for fitness fun in this class. Experience a workout that will challenge your aerobic and core strength with weights, polymeric exercises, and conditioning circuits.

Fit to Dance is the ultimate choice for busy moms with their flexible class schedules and even a class where kids come along for the workout!

Mommy & Me FitcampMOMMY & ME FITCAMP: NO MORE EXCUSES!

Have a little one at home all day?  With Fit to Dance’s FitCamp there are no excuses to not work-out!

Mommy and Me FitCamp classes are held every Wednesday at 9:30 am, and the kids come along for the work-out!  They can either participate in age-appropriate Mommy and Me exercises and/or play off to the side during the class in a safe, family-friendly environment. This “boot camp style” class provides a full body work-out in a small group.  “It’s fun, they all challenge each other,” says co-owner Kara. “And, they’ve lost weight. They’ve become friends, too.”

FROM YOGA TO BOOTCAMP: SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE

“We offer a lot of variety with our classes,” Kara explains.  This variety allows women to try different things, find the right class(es) for them and challenge themselves.  Zumba, Power Hour Yoga, Boot Camp and Boxing Boot Camp promise a butt-kicking cardio workout. Body Sculpt, Barre Sculpt and Pilates tone and define the body giving those nice arms, back, legs and abs. Vinyasa Yoga offers restoration, relaxation and flexibility.

Current class schedule is as follows (schedule subject to change):

• Yoga (Vinyasa, All levels) – Wednesdays 8:00 pm and Saturdays 8:15 am
• Yoga Power Hour – Fridays at 9:30 am
• Zumba – Mondays at 6:45 pm, Thursdays 8:00 pm and Saturdays at 9:15 am. 
• Zumba with Abs – Mondays at 9:30 am
• Boxing Boot Camp – Mondays at 8:00 pm
• Barre Sculpt (Ballet-type sculpting class, mostly at the ballet barre) – Tuesdays at 8 pm
• Body Sculpt – Thursdays at 9:30 am
• Pilates Core – Tuesdays at 9:30 am
