Civil War Living History Weekend ~ Oct. 14th-15th

Whether you’re a Civil War buff or just enjoy walking along Main Street and enjoying the Fall weather, the Civil War Living History Weekend is a great time to re-acquaint yourself with all that Mullica Hill has to offer.  


Community members and actors will dress in full uniform as Civil War soldiers and 19th century citizens to re-enact the Civil War era.  Their encampments will be on either side of Main St and will include weapons display.  Along Main St. enjoy food vendors, music, crafts, pumpkin painting and a Harry Potter event.  Events will take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

Civil War Living History Weekend & Fall Festival ~ Oct. 8th-9th

The 2016 Civil War Living History Weekend and Mullica Hill Fall Festival will be held on Saturday, Oct. 8th  from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday, October 8th from  10 a.m. to 5 p.m. This is the 47th year for this popular annual event.


Step back in time to the Civil War era as you experience life in a Civil War camp complete with a weapons display, baking on an open fire, candle dipping and live music performed by a Civil War band.

Crafters, food and live music will add to the festivities.  For the little ones there will be Face Painting, Pumpkin Decorating, Pony rides.

Charles H. Harrison, a local writer and historian, will be at The Front Porch Antiques to sign his book “No Longer Warriors” based on his Great-Grandfather’s experience at Gettysburg.  The book was  produced as a play and performed on stage by a professional theater company. It is the story of wounded soldiers who experiences terror and miracles in a house on the battlefield as the fighting rages around them.

Pumpkin Fest, Civil War Weekend ~ Oct. 11th-12th

civilwar13Experience camp life at the Pumpkin Festival and Civil War Living History Weekend taking place this weekend in Mullica Hill. The festivities will be held Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

A Civil War reenactment will entertain and educate crowds about the Civil War Era at this two-day event. It will also feature a selection of weapons and medical displays, candle dipping and more. A free, guided lantern tour of the camps followed by a canon firing is also
planned. And live music will be performed by a Civil War band.


Crafters will be on-site and a selection of food will be available. There will also be free pony rides and pumpkin carving/painting available.

Kings Row will host a Barn Sale. The Gathering Room will celebrate 16 years of service.
