Our favorite local farm markets have sweet Jersey corn-on the-cob ready to go for your July 4th celebration.
That perfectly buttered and salted ear of corn may be an all-American tradition, but why not try one of these four new ideas for a new twist on an old favorite!
1. Mix pesto sauce with freshly grated Parmesan cheese and melted butter for some Italian influence.
2. For corn with a kick, mix mayonnaise with Mexican cojita cheese and ground chili pepper.
3. Make it even sweeter with a mixture of cinnamon, granulated sugar, and melted butter.
4. Add coarse sea salt, cracked black pepper and cumin seeds to olive oil for a simple spread.
So good you better pick up an extra dozen!
