Lights on Main 2017

It’s time once again for Mullica Hill’s favorite holiday celebration.  Lights on Main – a celebration of the Christmas Season will be held on November 25th from 5pm to 10pm on Main St.  This event has been awarded “Best Event” in Gloucester County four years in a row!  Admission is free for all and it’s a great way to kick off the holiday season and visit with all of your friends and neighbors.

Lights on Main

The event starts an hour early this year at 5p.m. and the little ones can get their Pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus near Chatham Lane between 5 and 6:30 p.m.

The Main Stage will feature a Welcome from the Mayor, Awards ceremony and performances from our favorite local singing and dancing groups.

The highlight of Lights on Main is the annual Tree Lighting.  Gather in front of the Old Town Hall Museum to watch as the giant tree is lit at 7:30 p.m., signaling the start of the holiday season.  After the Tree Lighting, step inside Old Town Hall to warm up with some apple cider and holiday cookies.

Gingerbread Man decorating, sponsored by Harrison Township Recreation Commission, is just one of the fun-filled activities available at this year’s Lights on Main!  Kids can also enjoy fun holiday crafts!

Hop on the Christmas train  for a relaxing ride up and down Main Street.  Or, sit back, relax and experience horse-drawn carriage rides between Woodland Avenue and Chatham Lane.

There will be lots of food vendors and specials at the various shops open all evening.
