Meet the MHM Team
Marisa has been running Mullica Hill Mom since 2012 and has lived in Mullica Hill since 2002 with her husband and two daughters, ages 12 and 9. Marisa grew up in South Jersey and is a graduate of Moorestown HS. She earned a BA in Economics and an MBA with a concentration in Marketing from The College of William and Mary in Virginia . In addition to running Mullica Hill Mom, Marisa works full time as the Director of Marketing for a national retailer. She has nearly 20 years of marketing experience with expertise in retail and database marketing, email marketing, direct mail and media. Marisa also taught Advertising at both Rowan and Widener University. Marisa is active in the community as a Girl Scout troop leader and PTA volunteer and enjoys keeping everyone up to date on what’s going on in town through Mullica Hill Mom.
Victoria holds a BA in Communications from Montclair State University in Upper Montclair, New Jersey. She is a native of Glassboro and a former Journalist for the South Jersey News in Woodbury. Victoria currently resides in Austin, Texas, where she is a member of the Writers’ League of Texas and Women Communicators of Austin. Victoria serves as a member of the marketing committee for the WLT. She also serves as a teaching assistant for the league. She is also a writer for its Communications Committee and has recently been appointed as its Publicity Chair. Victoria shares monthly feature recipes in our Food section and also writes many of our feature articles.
Alicia is a freelance writer with a Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology. She has been living in Mullica Hill with her husband and four girls since 2010. Alicia grew up across the bridge in the suburbs of Philadelphia and attended McDaniel College for her undergraduate and Loyola College for her doctorate. After working for over a decade in the field of Psychology, Alicia decided to stay at home with her young children and concentrate on writing. Her personal essays have appeared in numerous newspapers, magazines and popular websites including the Philadelphia Inquirer, Parenting: Special Needs, Mamalode, She Knows, and Reading Today. She serves as the Creative Non-Fiction Editor for Pentimento Magazine and is currently working on her first non-fiction book. She is also an active volunteer with Hearts United Against Cancer and sits on the Executive Board of the Mullica Hill Women’s Tri Club. Ashlee Hemphill: Sales Executive
Ashlee has lived in the Mullica Hill area since 2012. She lives here with her husband and 6 month old son. She spent the last 7 years working for Philly.com and is now assisting Marisa with ad sales on MullicaHillMom.com.
